New Years Eve 2023

Our New Years Eve party with our German friends, Tobias and Sabrina and kids. The theme was film and tv character’s! Super fun as everyone came dressed up. 

TOLVSKILLINGSOPERAN

Liam and I went to see this show at the Dramaten theatre in Stockholm, together with friends Peter and Tobias. Tobias had kindly asked us if we wanted to join them, as he thought the boys would enjoy a different cultural activity. It was a Swedish performance of the original 1928 show written by Bertolt Brecht. Quite a lively performance with lots of singing. I think the boys enjoyed it, I did. 

Christmas 2023

We celebrated Christmas at home in Rönninge for 2023. There was quite a lot of snow and the Emma and Jens came over on Christmas Day for a turkey dinner. This years gingerbread creation was the London Tower Bridge, which Neela and I put together over several days hard work.

Liam's last Lucia at Nytorpsskolan

Liam making a final appearance in the school Lucia concert at his school in Rönninge. This will be his last one as a 9th grader, as he will be leaving school next summer when he goes on to high school. I think it’s always an emotional event and it brings a tear to my eyes as the procession enters the hall.
