Christmas 2024 Rönninge

Christmas came around again and here we all are in the house in Rönninge. It was unusually mild weather for December and for the first time since we moved to Rönninge, we didn’t have any snow on the ground at Christmas. As usual, we opened some presents on Christmas Eve, then ate dinner in the evening. Christmas day was a middle day for us, and we watched Die Hard together as our Christmas theme movie. On Boxing Day, Hannah and Emma came over with their families. That made us 12 round the table for our traditional turkey dinner.

Sailing with Tobias

A lovely day out with Tobias and Peter in their sailing boat. Started the day with lunch on the jetty. We had quite good wind and a mainly sunny day. Sailed out from Bockholmen and round Lidingö along the north side of the island and back.

Caroline’s grand Birthday Party

We were so luck with the weather, a super sunny day which turned out to be one of the hottest days of the year. So many good friends, family and neighbors came to celebrate Carolines 50^th birthday. It was also a 10-year celebration for us moving to this house in Rönninge. We provided drinks and made some food, and everyone brought along a dish too, so there was a huge buffet set on the kitchen table. We had seats on the balcony and a long table in the garden.

Skiing in Branäs 2024

Skiing during the spot-holiday in March together with Tobias and Linus and all 8 kids. The drive up was easy with no snow on the roads. Like previous years, we all stayed together in the same apartment block and the same type of apartment next to the slopes. Had a great time skinning, cooking and playing games together. We had a bit of light rain some of the time, but the snow base was good and now icy patches to be found.
