Gotland and 6th Birthday for Nicholas
We had the chance to spend a week's holiday on Gotland again this year. This coincided with Nicholas's 6th Birthday. Very warm 30 degree weather and fantastic swimming almost every day. We visited the cement factory one morning to the delight of Liam. Great views from the top of the factory tower.
Hannah and Emma were also there with their lads that week and Emma with her new baby boy, Ed.

F1 Silverstone
Liam and I had a great day visiting the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, a first for Liam. Red Arrows display great as usual. Our man, Lewis Hamilton, had a great race to climb back up to 2nd place.

Visiting Thomas the tank engine
By popular request, a vist to see Thomas and his friends at the Watercress Line in Alton. Despite the rain, we had a good time and just seeing Nicholas's face when we first saw the trains was worth the wet day out.

Easter in England with family
We spent Easter in England this year, staying at Penny's in Elstead. We had the chance to see all our relatives during the week we were there, helped by a big Easter lunch at Mum and Ross's house. Mike came down too and Ross played guitar with a friend of his for us all. We also drove over to Farnham to see Zoe's house, which was in the middle of a big kitchen renovation. I had chance to meet up with some old friends, having a beer with Brian one evening and meeting Gary Cox who I haven't seen for years.
