Sportlov winter holiday in Branäs

Here we are back in Branäs for a winter break. This time we shared an appartment with friends with their two boys. The weather was not too cold and we had a great 4 days of skiing. Liam swapped to snowboard on the second day and did very well to get it under control fast. Neela and Nicholas both did well too on skis and Caroline stuck to walking the dog.

On this day - Mum passed away

On this day my mum, Jean Margret Channon, passed away. 
22nd April 1941 to the 7th February 2021.

Gingerbread production in full swing. Houses and a church are the theme for this year.

Nichols wins the Nobel Peace Prize at school

Each year the school gives out prizes and this year Nicholas won the Peace Prize in his class.

Nikolaus visits Lilldalsvägen

Following the German tradition, Nikolaus visits our house on the 6th of December. He delivers small presents which are found in a boot by the door, very much anticipated by our children who see this as the starting point for the Christmas festivities.
